Dr. Rudra Sharma

Dr. Rudra Sharma is a highly skilled Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based cancer care with precision, compassion, and excellence. With specialized training in Head & Neck Oncology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, she brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis, surgical management, and rehabilitation of patients with complex head and neck cancers.

She completed her MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and subsequently underwent specialized training in Surgical Oncology at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi, where she gained extensive exposure to the multidisciplinary management of cancer patients. She then pursued the prestigious Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO) at Medanta – The Medicity, securing an All India Rank of 4, and received advanced training in the comprehensive management of head and neck cancers.

Dr. Sharma currently serves as an Attending Consultant in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram, where she specializes in the management of oral cavity cancers, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland tumors, laryngeal and pharyngeal cancers, nasal and paranasal sinus tumors, parapharyngeal tumors, and complex skin cancers of the head and neck region.

Her surgical philosophy focuses not only on achieving optimal cancer control but also on preserving speech, swallowing, appearance, and overall quality of life. She is particularly committed to delivering personalized treatment plans that integrate oncological safety with functional and aesthetic outcomes.
